DELAG an acronym from German: Deutsche Luftschiffahrts-Aktiengesellschaft (German Airship Travel Corporation) was the world's first airline to use an aircraft (a Zeppelin ridig airship) in revenue service. It was founded on November 16 1909 with government assistance and operated airships manufactured by Zeppelin Corporation. Its headquarters were in Frankfurt.
