Reußenköge is a municipality in the district of Nordfriesland in Schleswig-Holstein Germany. It is situated on the North Sea coast approx. 17 km northwest of Husum. The municipality includes a number of polders two of which were financed by Count Heinrich XLIII of Reuß-Schleiz-Köstritz and his wife Louise and thus bear the names Louisen-Reußen-Koog and Reußenkoog. Thus the name of the municipality was combined from both names meaning literally in English: polders of the Reußes.
