The Supermarine 545 was a British supersonic jet fighter project of
the mid 1950s.2
The Supermarine 545 was a development of the Swift for intended
operation as a naval fighter to meet Air Ministry specification
F.105D2.3
Here's a thought, what if the Supermarine 545 had not been cancelled,
it would have made a great addition to the RAF's capability in the
1950's and 60's.4
