The Richard-Penhoët 2 was a 1926 French prototype for a giant liner flying-boat. The Richard-Penhoët 2 carried 40 passengers on two decks along with a 5-person crew. The prototype undertook its first trials on 26 June 1926. On the second series of trials it stalled and crashed.
