The Piper PiperJet Altaire is a single-engined very light jet (VLJ) designed for single-pilot operation currently under development by Piper Aircraft. Based on the PA-47 PiperJet prototype the Altaire features a slightly larger fuselage with a rounded cross-section and includes a conventional control yoke for flight control as opposed to the original PiperJet's side-stick controller.
