The Messerschmitt Me 409 was an abandoned design for a fighter aircraft. It was intended to be two Me 209 fuselages joined by a common wing section like the Bf 109Z (two Bf 109s) and the Me 609. Most of the aircraft parts would come from the mainly from the Me 209-II. The engines would have consisted of Daimler-Benz DB 603s as on the Me 209-II. Arnament would have been like the Bf 109Z and Me 609 (four 30 mm MK 108 cannons and one 30 mm MK 103 cannon).
