Macchi C.202

The Macchi C.202 Folgore was a World War II fighter aircraft built by Macchi Aeronautica and operated by the Regia Aeronautica (RA; Royal Air Force). Macchi aircraft designed by Mario Castoldi received the C letter in their model designation hence the Folgore is referred to as the MC.202.

This is my 1/48th scale Hasegawa Macchi C-202 Folgore , the model was built OOB and painted with a mix of my own using Humbrol oil paints.11
War II, the Macchi C.202 is sometimes overlooked. However, a case could be made for the Macchi C.202 as one of the superb fighter designs of the era.12
