The Auster 6A Tugmaster was a British high-wing monoplane glider tug converted from surplus former military Auster AOP.6s.

At Shobdon,in an Auster tugmaster which was for sale at the time(£700.00 I seem to remember),it was 1968 and I was 13 at the time.1

It is the successor of the Auster AOP.6 .
