Arado Ar 234 - airplanes
The Arado Ar 234 was the world's first operational jet-powered bomber built by the German Arado company in the closing stages of World War II. Produced in very limited numbers it was used almost entirely in the reconnaissance role but in its few uses as a bomber it proved to be nearly impossible to intercept. It was the last Luftwaffe aircraft to fly over England during the war in April 1945.

the Second World War.12
The Arado Ar 234 “Blitz” (Lightning) was the only turbojet-powered
bomber to achieve operational status in World War II, and as such was
an important milestone in the development of military 13
The Arado Ar 234B went operational in 1944, July as a reconnaissance
aircraft and it succesfully took a lot of pictures of the landing
beaches and the front in Normandy.14
This version of the Arado Ar 234 is usually overlooked in favour of
its more numerous stable mates.15
