The Aermacchi MB-339 is an Italian military trainer and light attack aircraft. It was developed as a replacement for the earlier MB-326.

The Aermacchi MB-339 jet trainer is of conventional configuration, and shares much of the MB-326's airframe.5
The Aermacchi MB-339 was developed as a follow on from the companies earlier MB-26. The MB-339 is a two seat advanced jet trainer with full aerobatic qualities.6
