Kauhavalta vuokrattu VL Viima II OH-VIF, joka oli kerhon käytössä 1962.Syyskuun 9. päivä vuonna 1962 järjestettiin Vaasassa lentonäytös Ilmavoimien kanssa yhteistyössä, ja kaikki tuotto meni Menkijärven kentän kunnostamisen hyväksi.3
Ltm Heiskalan mukaan piti nimetä VL Viima, nimeäminen kuitenkin siirtyi asiaa koskevien paperien katoamisen ja sotien takia.4
